Mr. Rouch
Born and raised in Colorado, Mr. Rouch moved to California to finish his teaching degree at Azusa Pacific University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development -- and met his wonderful wife. He also earned a Master of Education degree in Digital Teaching and Learning through Azusa Pacific University.
The 2012-2013 school year will mark his second year teaching at Boulder Ridge Middle School. He is so excited! He loves teaching and feels very fortunate to be a part of the amazing group of staff and students that make BRMS the incredible school that it is.      Mr. Rouch enjoys reading, the outdoors, movies (especially comedies and sci-fis), and spending time with his wife. He is a big sports fan and, being from Colorado, roots for the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies. He also coaches hurdles for Elsinore High School's track and field team.

Mr. Collins
Mr. Collins is excited to once again return to Boulder Ridge Middle School as a 7th grade language arts teacher.  Born and raised in North San Diego County, he graduated with a BA in Theatre from The University of Southern California in 1998 and earned his Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from National University in 2003.
After teaching 9th grade English and Drama II, III, IV, and IB/AP at Vista High School during the 2002-03 school year, he accepted a position at Romoland Elementary School teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. The 2012-13 school year marks his 9th year in The Romoland School District, and his 8th teaching 7th grade language arts exclusively.
During the summers, and occasionally throughout the school year, Mr. Collins enjoys performing on stage at various theaters around San Diego County, most recently playing the title role in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!"  while the falls afford him the opportunity to cheer on his beloved USC Trojans at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
